Indo-Canadian sets of Rohan Bopanna and Denis Shapovalov retired from the Stuttgart Open at the elimination round stage on Friday.
Bopanna and Shapovalov, barely any hours after their quarterfinal prevail upon the Kazakh-Pak team of Aleksandr Nedovyesov and Aisam-Ul-Haq-Qureshi, went down 6-7 (1), 6-7 (5) to third seeds Mate Pavic of Croatia and Hubert Hurkacz of Poland in the last four apparatus.
